Second Activity
1. Gather with Gratitude: Take a moment at the beginning to gather everyone up. Have people introduce themselves and say one thing they’re grateful for.
2. Tune in to Creation: You are in a sacred space. Help people notice their surroundings. Maybe you’re volunteering and the host tells you about the space. Maybe you ask people to identify one thing that catches their eye or ear. Maybe you tell a story about the place or acknowledge the people who once lived here.
3. Connect while you do your thing: We want people interacting with creation in pairs, ideally talking and sharing about their lives at some level. Give people a question to talk about while they do your Earthcare Activity.
4. Gather and Send: Before everyone drifts away, gather them up to thank them and make sure they understand what comes next. To make it extra special, maybe there’s a snack, a drink, a reflection, or a game at the end that wraps up your time together.

Final Party
Plan an informal party on Week 10 that people can look forward to.
1. Invite all the neighbors who participated in your Earthcare Activity.
2. Bring snacks to share. Use the Volunteer Roles sheet to organize it.
3. Ask everyone to say their name and share one thing they experienced that they’re grateful for.
4. Thank your neighbors for joining you, and share everything you accomplished as a group, helping care for God’s Earth.
5. Offer a small token of appreciation, such as matching bandanas or handwritten cards.
6. Let them know that they’re invited the next time you do a project.
